When it comes to gift giving, I like to strike a balance
between practical and inspiring. It’s nice to give someone a gift that they
might never buy for themselves, provided it’s something they will use and
appreciate. This year my top gift selections
all fall under this umbrella. So who are you shopping for? Based on some worthy
gift recipients that I know, I have organized my top 2009 gift selections by
personality.
The Rodger. You all know this guy , he’s the one you want to
sit next to at the dinner party! Anyone willing to try new things who likes to
enjoy a straight drink every now and again will love the Terroforma Whiskey
stones ($19.95). These soft Vermont hulled whiskey rocks are chilled and then
placed in the glass to cool their drink without diluting it.
The Amy. She injects
her fun sense of style into everything she does, including shopping! She’s
going to love this set of 5 Envirosax mix and match bags ($38.95) with 5 unique
bag patterns custom chosen to suit her style. P.S. that’s Amy in the picture!
The Nikki. Every time I see Nikki she’s always sporting some
awesome accessory that prompts me to say “that’s so cute, where did you get
it?”. She’s going to love the warm and stylish cotton scarf series
($23.95) that we have just introduced
for the holiday season.
The Bill. You can always count on him to serve a healthy and
delicious meal that has a great story behind it. He’s kind of a health nut so I
know he’s going to love cooking with fresh organic pesto made from his own window sill herb
garden ($23.95). They grow in just 5 days and come with recipes for three
different pesto sauces that can be made with the pesto herbs.
The Jessica. She has a stressful job but still likes to take
a few minutes for herself during the day. I know she’ll love the Tea Forte
Oasis Gift tower ($29.95). With the inspiring red café cup, decadent Tea Forte
Tea sampler and feng shui inspired tea tray it will provide her with a much
deserved oasis from her hectic day.
The Michael. He’s always on the go and has great sense of style.
I know this Envirosax water bottle will not only look great sticking out of his
messenger bag but will also be something he uses every day.
The Raquel. She’s that cute girl on the train every morning
who’s off to her busy metropolitan job. She’s going to love toting her lunch in this
adorable insulated lunch tote from Two Loops($19.95). The rich chocolate felt
material is stylish on the outside and
the wipe clean insulation interior is
practical on the inside. Folds flat and rolls up for super ease of storage
after use! Since she has flare for the
unexpected, I’ll throw in the 5 pack of floral wood chopsticks($9.95) to go
with her lunch too.
The Brett. Why should girls get all the cool lunch supplies?
He’s going to love the safe and practical BPA free 2 tier stainless steel lunch
tiffin from To-Go Ware (21.95). I’ll pare it with the reusable bamboo reusable
utensils ($7.95) and he’s ready to head out the door with a healthy lunch.
The Carrie. As the leader of our ten years strong book club I KNOW Carrie will appreciate the
Novel tea collection. This boxed tea gift set features tea bag hang tags with
quotes from famous literary classics. This is sure to be a welcome gift for any
book club member!
